Pond Management for Rural and Farm Pond Owners
乐动体育注册Ponds can be a source of enjoyment for their owners, but it takes active management for this to happen. This asynchronous, self-paced course teaches rural and farm pond owners how to manage their ponds. Pond owners identify realistic goals for their pond and then learn how to realize their pond goals. Additionally, real estate professionals and appraisers can take this course to better understand how to work with rural and farm properties that have ponds.
Through videos, short readings, and images, this course addresses common pond problems such as: leaks and maintenance issues, pond safety, excessive plant and algae growth, pond fishery management, and wildlife issues. Check your learning questions after each subsection will help you apply what you learn.
When you finish this course, you should have the basic knowledge necessary to effectively management a pond.
Real estate professionals and appraisers can earn 8 continuing education units (CEUs) from the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission or the Pennsylvania Board of Real Estate Appraisers. To do so, you must successfully complete the course by passing each section quiz with an 80% or better. Then you will print a "Certificate of Completion" to retain for your records.
Note:乐动体育注册 This course is NOT intended for owners of backyard, landscape, or garden ponds (typically much smaller than 1/4 acre and often measured in gallons).
